burning war supplies???

Sometimes I cannot burn war supplies. I can aim the torch, but I can't get it to fire. This keeps me from completed some side quests. Same thing with shooting arrows. Anybody else have this problem?

You can swing your torch and hit war supplies to light them on fire. Same goes with any fire ailment you have embedded into a weapon. You can do the same with Silos too.

As in, you can't throw it? or it doesn't catch fire?

On a similar note, I have a long delay sometimes where I keep "lowering" the torch, same for my bow in fast-paced fights where I'm moving around a lot. The aiming mechanic takes so long to "stick" sometimes, I'm constantly dropping my aim instead of firing an arrow (or throwing the torch).

I have to constantly throw off my fighting rhythm by consciously thinking of holding the bow aimed for a lot longer than I would like, then consciously keeping the RMB (aim key) held down and think about releasing my shot (LMB) and still holding the RMB for what seems like a long time (probably only fractions of a second). It just seems to be sluggish, and noticeably longer than in Origins where I got used to it fairly quick. Odyssey still trips me up frequently, it's such a pronounced length of time. Fractions of seconds, but make a huge difference when it's noticeably a long time.

With the added bonus feature that you can set yourself on fire at the same time. I will always throw a torch or use a fire arrow to burn supplies. Have never had a problem. But always stand well back; the ground near the supplies can and will also burn.

I never encounter this issues unless I'm careless and hit an amphorae of pitch. One or two quick strikes on the crate then jump away, no spontaneous combustion for me.

Well, I use hades' bow and all I have to do is prime an arrow, wait a second and it'll burn the supplies.

You could do the same with fire arrows.

Dont forget to loot first, then burn them.

If the supplies are sitting on straw or touching a tent you can get caught. Safest to throw the torch.

Now that I've got the fire arrow upgrade, it's a no brainer to just shoot a fire arrow at whatever I want to set ablaze. At least for a moment, I can pretend that I was thinking tactfully and ignited them from afar, from the treeline, on my horse's back, so no one could possibly see me. Just a split second though, then that bounty pops up. :-(

You mean shooting silos?

Exactly. Who else could it be? you're the only one carrying a fire source, only one with a vendetta against the nation, only one daring enough to do such a heinous crime. Gotta be you. :-)

No, my problem is that after equiping the bow or the torch, I click the RMB to aim, but then when I click the LMB it won't throw the torch, or shoot the arrow. If I save the game, then go back, SOMETIMES it will throw the torch, or shoot the arrow. I have changed the mouse, same outcome.

Ok, I just tried swinging the torch to light the war supplies. Nothing. It's as if the LMB stops working after I equip the torch or bow.
