X360 Controller for PC Issue.

Like the title says I'm having issue making the photo mode work using X360 controller. Anything that involves the Left analogue doesn't work in my game. Before buying the game I waned to test if my potato can run it atleast in low settings so I played a "non-legit" version for few hours to see if I face any performance issue & I din't have any issue including the controller working fine. But once I bought it the before mentioned button stopped working in-game. It's annoying to sit close to the keyboard just to use the "alt" button to see objectives cos of the issue with controller. Has anyone of you faced this issue & solved it? If yes! please help me out.

P.S. I wish every developer gives a demo version of their every game just so peasants like me can test it out & decide before buying. I for one bought Destiny 2 this way cos they gave a mission as demo & my potato ran it very well.

Have u tried check the controller settings in game? Mine also has a few issuses in this game, but i fixed it everytime if i'm ALT - Tabbing and then back to the game.

I checked the controller settings it's all default. I even hit the default option. Every pther button work except for right analogue click. I shall try the alt + tab trick now. But kinda believe it won't work cos I've done that a few times. I even changed mode from borderless to fullscreen to windowed. Still that din't work.

No need to be sorry :) Thanks for atleast responding & trying to help. I've reinstalled the controller drivers but still no use. I believe this has something to do with the new version update. Cos I played it in v1.0.6 before & when I bought it it was v1..0.7

Go into Steam settings, controllers, and make sure Xbox 360 controller support is unticked.

Also, you can play up to two hours and refund the game on steam. No need to pirate.

I don't see this option anywhere there nor inside any of those options mentioned inside controller.

Steam will think I'm misusing the refund feature everytime I'm interested in a new game & wanna first try out the demo & see XD

The option is definately there.

Click on Steam at the top left of the steam window, then settings. In the settings window that opens, go to controllers. Click on GENERAL CONTROLLER SETTINGS.

A new window will open that looks somewhat like Steam big picture. Make sure that Xbox Controller Support is unticked.

Thats it. You should be good to go. I had problems with my controller not functioning properly in different games until i unticked that box.

I've no such thing as "Xbox Controller Support but instead I've Generic Gamepad Configuration Support which is unticked.

In that conclusion I see Issue with steam it self, and not the game.

My second guess was that given that my first guess was a game update that messed up the button function.

Hmm yes, it is strange. Are you on Windows 10? Any chance you could reinstall the xbox controller driver?

I'm on Win 10 & reinstalling drivers was the first thing I did. I din't have this problem before any of the AC games I own.
