I give up. Playing on easy. Using all the tips given in these discussions. I cannot win this battle. I give up. It would be nice for those of us that just want to play the game and not get caught up in battles we cannot win, if it really WAS EASY! I'm sure many will say it is, but not for me. So, now I am done. I can't complete anything else.

If you are playing on hard lower difficulty. If you are playing on easy. Get gud

Go doing quests and level up your character then go back fighting.... oh wait you can't, this is Ubisoft.... well sucks to be you, but good that you paid the game - cheers.

Try stacking your gear and skills to prioritize assassin or hunter. Use either one w poison, use statues for cover and take advantage of those openings. If you dont upgrade your gear or use engravings, youre in for a bad time.

I won't say get good, but if you dont utilize the rpg system, thats not on ubisoft.

I've played it over 40 times and have only made it half way once! Why make a game with a battle like this that can't be won or skipped??????????????

I got it on my first on normal, so it’s far from unwinnable. Just use your bow, use the heal ability when needed, and hide behind the pillars when she uses the stare attack. It will take a while but you should get it.

Hide behind pillars when she's gonna hit you with the gaze, don't try to dodge it. When the beam stops you have a chance to rush her and get a few hits in. Any time you approach near her, be ready to dodge when you see the orange glow. That's the main thing, do not under any circumstance get grabbed by her. If you can avoid that you can chip her down eventually. Use the adds she summons to gain adrenaline, they are weak. Do not spend adrenaline on anything except Second Wind to heal up.

My first try I did so poorly, second time won without too much difficulty using the above strategies. Don't rush it, just practice hiding from the gaze and don't try to take shortcuts or do heroic awesome moves in this fight or you will pay for it.

Thanks all. I finally beat it, again on Easy. Took a very long time, but at least I got past it. Thanks for everyone's help.

It's THE hardest fight in the game. Don't get discouraged. If others are beating it, that tells you it can be done. If it can be done, YOU can also do it. Glad to see you did it.

Its really not that hard. Take your time dont put yourself under stress. Keep running and permanently shooting Fire Arrows. If you fail...try again you have all the Time you need.

it is a long fight for sure. my first time beating her i was level 48. the second time i waited till i was level 50 and it as still hard but didnt take as long as the first.

Hey man, don't give up. It took me almost an hour to defeat Medusa in nightmare mode.

I'm glad you've managed to bear it in the end!

I can appreciate that it's a tough fight, in most of these though it's a case of slowly learning the attacks of the enemy and how to avoid or counter them.

If you do come across another fight you find difficult I recommend you watch some videos of other players beating it. They generally give you some good ideas on ways to avoid the more annoying attacks or how to quickly deal with additional enemies etc.

this is very good advice. watching others beat the enemy really helps if you have trouble.
