stop reducing the freaking horse speed!!!
Since AC:Brotherhood, horse speed is reduced inside cities which is annoying as hell, so for 10 years and titles that came after it with horses is still the same without any updates despite the community feedback on this, now it got even worse, its reduced around forts and in comabt as well, and takes a while to get away from radius to get full speed back, WTF is going on with this!?!?!?!?

another thing, why the hell the character is too slow when running and climbing especially inside cities and restricted areas!!!!!

Yes, it must be related as I wrote many times to the game stability: the game would not be stable if the rendering had to be fast as the player might run fast and lead the computer to crash.
In the same time this thing feels like a very very strong statement of "we do not trust you player and we control your role playing"...

The technical problems become an improper message to the player and force their gameplay expression. Maybe you could have made a rule that is like "if you bring a horse in the city you might get people upset and attack you

you could have made players able to hang their horses at any three and also create a lil VERY LITTLE sub system (like the one missing with the ships and the crew like a brawling, stealing, resource collecting, STAY in the ship order and so on) that allowed the horse bonding, horse to recharge, horse to learn the fast turns (for more cool riding experience) horse learning special ability to slowly "climb" through ROCKY areas (something only some types of CARSIC AREAS raised horses can do ... like a Puglia - Italy type of dark horse) and so on...

Anyway lack of investment leads to people become very frustrated.

Please invest more in this brand\franchise instead to push 1 title every year... because "reasons"... (Money).

It's really a senseless decision from Guillelmot ... Game design is not FARMING.

that is incorrect. game runs fine with remove horse speed cap mod
Good! Not gonna apply a mod here. Or I might get it broken just before i finally finish this INFINITE grind (shop me propaganda - Lootboxes brainwashing).

You can remove horse speed limit easily with a Cheatengine table. It works as of June 17th 2020. I'm not sure if it's TOS so I won't link it here, PM me for the table.

I fully support this suggestion. Horse speed is albeit realistic in cities, it's annoying and useless.

Yeah, let the guys run over civilians, guards and merchants/blacksmiths all over the place, destroy possible sidequests and have the time of their lives with the highest bounty you can think of in the shortest time possible with several mercenaries, all soldiers and entire cities wanting to kill the player on sight, all because the horse dont hold back when getting near civilian areas . . .

Actually, it would be fun, I already do higher bounties on purpose to farm mercs and have fun . . let it happen, and if they complain, post all the forum topics complaining about the horse speed :steammocking:

totally agree with this. RUN means run not shamble and auto-gallop means have horse go fast at shortest route.

(horse and ship AI stinks beyand all reason)
