"We're treasure hunters" quest: Obelia in the water

In the quest "We're treasure hunters" Obelia is in the water because her ship got sunk by some other ships. Is the quest now broken?

I can talk to her but the cutscene is then underwater where her ship is, after the cutscene is over I am inside her ship and cannot get out of it and I drown lol

Same here Overlord. I justy moved on and it looks like I won't be able to 100% becausae of this. I have severe OCD and this WAS/IS almost enough to make me start all over!

Can you not fast travel away from inside the ship?

Happened over and over! Every time no matter what I did her ship was sunk before I could get to it. I waited until she swam to shore even, same thing happens every time!

She drowned after I reloaded and the quest was successfull, so you can probably just kill her. She will attack you anyway after you talk to her.
