[Spoiler] 'Going Down' Quest

After you find your mother you get this quest.

You have to:

Loot Nation Chest
Burn War Supplies
Kill Athenian Soldiers


I did all 3 of these and nothing happens, quest doesn't complete. Anyone had an issue with this quest?

no issue personaly, and can't remember the exact part of this quest, but are you sure you're in the right area? (it's mostly linked to some island / territory, and only against a defined faction? It may be necessary to make a mess for forcing a war and changing the land ownership if needed, i know i had to do it for a secondary quest, dunno about the main quest as i don't remember ;p)

Its a quest for Paros, so I tried to complete it on Paros.

yep, if i'm not mystaking the quest ask to kill "athenian soldiers", when i had it, the territory was spartian, so bashing forts was pointless, i had to do a battle and force a camp swap in order to actualy massacre the good peoples.

Paros is Athenian for me and I have been running around the island for roughly an hour killing athenians.

oh well, sorry was the only idea that crossed my mind, it may then be some sort of bug, but i haven't see people complaining about this one yet, hope you'll find more usefull help here :o

1st: dont necro old threads.
2nd: You are required to lower paros' nation power to low, if you do that by plundering, killing or assassinating the leader is irrelevant.

OK, so a very old thread. I've had this issue a couple of times, and I finally figured it out. You're 'supposed' to kill the Athenians in the quarry. Usually, that, burning the supplies and pinching the gold is enough.
however, because Naxos is under Myrinne's rule, and Paros and Naxos are linked, sometimes it bugs out, and killing Athenians does not reduce the Nation bar at all. You need to ride the island and kill Spartans. Their deaths lower the nation bar. With the nation chest and al supply crates destroyed, you should only need to kill a handful. There should be a Spartan camp to the north-west. I emptied that, and the quest completed.
