Can I use cheatengine to boost my character's XP and money?

It is a SINGLEPLAYER game. I should be able to do whatever I want. Can I at least download custom save files?

First of all to those saying I should just purchase microtransactions.

Years ago, games were made with the idea: "We have to make our games as good as possible in order to encourage people to buy the expansions/DLC we will make."
Nowadays, games are made with the idea: "We have to make huge chunks of our game as boring as possible in order to encourage people to buy microtransactions so they can skip the boring bits and play the good parts of the game."

Secondly, to those saying I should just grind. I won't. That is boooooooooooring.

I just want to play the main story. That is how I always played the older AC games. And according to what I heard, it is literally impossible to play just the main story in AC Odyssey as the enemies will become impossible to kill.

Yes i do it all the time no anti cheat its only a single player game. Just use a trainer/mod menu

yeah you can get a trainer to give you what you need

Yes you can.. There's fearless cheat engine table.. It have exp multiplier, and ignore resources/drachmae.. And other typical cheat, like inf.health, adrenaline, etc.

i done same thing bosted xp to lvl 50 so finaly can enjoy game and runed story since all loot and enemys also is scaled to your level its much beter experience
also unlocked all skils :D

hey my dude, I saw that you had a working trainer, the one I got from fearlessrevolution has a load of entries named "no description" or "auto assemble script", so if I could nab yours that would be kickass

why bother playing if you dont want to PLAY the game the way it is intended. its an RPG with lots of exploring and side missions with many beautiful areas to see. you people who cheat should just stick with the easy games that are only 10 hrs long.

Tbh, the grind is non-existing.

It just looks as if theres a grind but a few hours of playing will see you lvl up a couple of times with no issue.

Resources are also aplenty in the game, and yes, I was looking for a trainer as well before I started playing. Now I have 600k drachmae and 15k + of the common resouces about 9k obsidian and 5k precious gems.

The only time you may run into a deficit is if you upgrade armour and weapon every level.

What you want is less of the content that (what, hundreds?) of people spent a lot of work, time, and love on and you want a discount because you want to ignore 75% of the game.

I believe the creators of this game made a great big world to showcase history and culture in the shell of a modern story they hope you find engaging. That's been the premise of the series from the start, and many players have come and stayed for that reason. Of course there's many players who have come for different reasons, whether it be the modern story, the gameplay, being a 'cool assassin', or whatever.

But if you don't like exploring historic locations, stories, and myths, then you might not be the target audience.

And it is unfair to complain about microtransactions, this game is perfectly playable without them (as intended) and personally, I would've sooner bought an xp penalty than an xp boost. You say back in the day games were better because the game delivered was the best it could be. Well, I don't think anything's perfect but the Ubisoft has done a great job on this one, whether it is your cup of tea or not. You should also rummage around in that memory of yours and remember how incredibly hard and unforgiving - and thus time consuming - most games were and I think you'll come to find you sound like a hypocrite who wants content tailored perfectly to their taste alone.

Wow so many people saying stuff without answering a question. Was hoping to find a yes or no, not a paragraph of some sped talking about "git gud". If anyone has an actual answer please say yes or no to whether or not using cheat engine on this single player game I bought will cause me to lose the ability to play it.

I guess I'm not supposed to upgrade my armour every level? lol

I can't keep up with the fast levelling in this game.

I have one piece of equipment that is 3 levels too low. I just can't afford to upgrade it, and everything else. Despite picking the map clean.

Every time I turn around I've gained another level.

you don't need to level up your gear at every level. you have ABILITIES that the npcs don't so you can still beat them with armor 3 levels lower than your current level.
