Look for a damaged wall and break through it with your weapons/torch.

They can be really tricky. Behind cracked walls, a hole in a wall behind vases and urns etc

Edit: Use the sensing ability that shows loot in a certain radius around you, it helps

Just to note since nobody else has... You can hear a gusty wind sound when you are near a secret wall... just turn your sound up and pay attention.

Also you can throw torches at snakes to kill them and just holt T to summon another one they are infinite from what I can tell. Crouching when attacking snakes makes the first hit connect for easy kills too.

I generally crouch through the whole crypt listening for wind and looking for pots to break where there are hidden holes in walls. When I come across snakes, i swing at single snakes and when there is a group I pick them off with thrown torches. after a few crypts you see that they are all the same recipie.

watch out for floor traps too...you can tell were they are when you come to them. square shape with pointy metals that pops up if you walk backward after setting it off(if set off just keep going forward without stoppin)
