Ability points granted by tombs lost when respec?

Heya, I am level 27 now which is equal to 26 AP. I did 3 tombs so far = +3 AP. So I should have 29 AP when I respec. Well that's not the case, I only get 27.

During leveling up, when you unlock new baseline abilities, are those picked up / upgraded automatically with those extra AP you got from the tombs? If yes, that makes sense and my AP match what I gained. If no, then I presume there is a bug related to this. (I am referring to abilities like rank 2 of falling to not take dmg which was granted automatically to me I did not put a point in it, and other similar baseline abilities that got added or increased in rank as you gain levels / upgrade spear artifact).

I just respec too but didn't pay attention to this. Would like an answer on this as well.

I am waiting on confirmation from someone else (just respec if you did any tombs for extra skill points then see if the number of AP you have matches or not) to be sure it's not a bug only in my game.

I'm pretty sure you don't lose them. You can always save the game, respec, and then load if you lose them.

lvl 30 , did reset 1 time already, 33 ap, i think i did 4 or 5 tombs, if i reset now, i still have 33 ap to use

I'm level 50, just respecced and got 50 points to spend. I reloaded the pre-respec and had at least 54 points. It seems bugged to me.

I just hit lvl 70 and decided to respec -- got 60 points so I've lost 10 points from levels and any from all the tombs I've raided. Welp, back to my last save I guess.

you need to reset the masteries separately - if you reset both I suspect you'll get back all your ability points.

About half the tombs never gave me ability points when I activated the ancient Stele's.

They just go dark and the tomb doesn't get a completed checkmark.

I go back to them once in awhile but they don't reset and reloading previous saves never helps.

I gave up complaining about it.

Made a ticket for it and their response was for me to reset my playstation even though I told them I'm playing on PC.

Damn that sucks... Ubi support can actually be helpful at times, this time looks like they totally missed it. For me the steles work fine but they kinda look like smth that will get bugged somehow.

check if you still have points invested in masteries, might be you have to reset them seperatly? idk
