A Life's Worth (Attika) Bugged? (Minor Spoilers)
Seems like I can't choose to go off and kill the woman the Master needs killing in exchange for letting the slave go. At least one guide says that killing the woman is an option (as is lying about it and causing a fight).

It looks like the quest skips the phase where a decision is actually made, and auto decides for you.

I've had the same problem. I tried all the dialog options with Sokrates, but the outcome is always the same. I always tell the slave master I won't kill someone to free the slave.

bad quest design, based on the fact that you didn't invite her to your crew before.

oh man! okay, thank you so much. It was driving me up a wall.

That's goofy game design, for sure.

I didnt invite odessa to my boat, so when the slave master gave me that contract, i wanted to see if that woman he mentioned worth killing, found out it was odessa, she was sleeping beside her father the time i arrive. And kass had a monologue.

Then i went back to the slave master, lied to him, and killed him, then throw his corpse in front of the slaves, they ran away.

LOL dev cannot predicts everyone's choices, i understand, but they didnt dig deep into the story, at least let the slave respond to me killing the slave master, i dont feel the investment was paid off.
