A Family Matter quest bug?

So I'm in Megaris and found Odessa (and yes, I had rescued her earlier and sent her home). I spoke to her, she mentioned wanting herbs to help her dad, etc., and I said I'd go get them and brb.

But no quest showed up. I tried talking to her again, to no avail; she simply ignores me.

I've finished the main quest for Megaris, as well as most, if not all, side quests (at least all the ones I could find), but I still can't get this quest to trigger.

I've found a few reports online of other bugs within this quest, but I haven't found anyone for whom the quest simply never starts. I'm beginning to suspect I'm just sol on this one.

Anyone else run into this?

Odd, have you tried to actually run to where the herbs are and pick them up? They are directly ahead of her dads hut, if you are coming out of the hut. By a broken ship i believe with wolves around.

I did the main quest there, and even killed the leader and was still able to complete it.

Does anyone know how to solve this? Have the same problem. I talked to her and agreed to help but quest is not showing in my journal and I have no marks on my map

All previous saves were far too old but reloading the game worked in the end

Had the same bug, possibly found a solution.
1) You can try to take quest or not, for me works at both cases.
2) Fast travel somewhere. I don't know, is this matter or not, but I traveled to Adrestia - it was "parked" at Pagai harbour(the same region). Then - fast travel back to Megara city again.
3) Come back to Odessa and talk with she. If you didn't start quest at 1) stage - take it, but it will not appear in the log anyway(at least now).
4) Quicksave\quickload game.
5) After quickloading, you will be see message that you got new quest and problem will solve.

p.s. Hope you will choose right answer for Odessa romance <3
