Its still expensive but once you hit max level and upgraded you ship you dont really need money/materials for anything else.
You can use it on other armors without having to wear the set
For the autolevel part, you need all 4 pieces in your inventory when you get the last one
If they are in the ship chest, no autolevel
Never ever upgrade legendary armors if you dont have the full set
Without the full set bonus, they are total garbage with only 2 bonus lines (like...a blue) instead of 3 for any purple...and they cost an arm to keep levelled
For example: I found Pilgrim´s cowl when I just mess around. It have +9 assassination.
I load my save and play further and forget about cowl. I was about 9 levels higher when I was near it again, so I take it from chest and it has +11% assassinations.
But when you upgrade with blacksmith armor, only its base statistics go higher, but not bonuses.
Does it mean that we should wait with collecting legendary items or just reconcile with lower bonuses?
We have to deal with lower bonuses if we take those legendary items on lower levels and therefore make them not so unique?
when you upgrade a item, not only legendaries but any item, to a higher level then the boni will level with them. I do not know at which levels the boni increase are though.
