Legendary Engraving on Boots?

Hello

So I found a spear with my favorite effect in Origins, Cursed (100% extra damage but health capped to 25%) noticed when I engraved my boots(Legs) that Legendary engraving was an option on them. The only Legendary engraving as an option. So I wen't for it.

Further playing I discovered a pair of epic boots with a better stat trio, but I do not get the option for the Engraving anymore on any boots. Only on my weapons do I get the option to engrave Legendary engravings.

So with this said, were boots glitched and were able to have Legendary engravings engraved onto them but was patched? Or am I doing something wrong for the Legendary engraving to not show up on my boots?

That is strange, I've finished the game and completed all the achievements so gotten every item in game and there are only 4 legendary engraving you cant put on boot without looking at helix store items.

That engraving is only possible for weapons so i think you somehow got a glitch and got it on the boot. Can you reproduce it? if not I would say save that boot since you really like that engraving.

Yeah talked to a few others on another board and it would seem I somehow was able to get this engraving as an option while I should not have considering its a engraving only weapons can have.

I first noticed this by reading this guide

You can see he too has his boots with this Engraving. As soon as I got this spear I wen't to the merchant to Engrave it on mine and continued playing until I just recently found a better pair of epic boots, but no engraving option on the boots for that specific Engraving.

So it would seem that either this was patched, or it is Glitched and you can Engrave this effect onto armor shortly after you obtain the spear.
