Reliable way to farm for "Assassin's" gear?
So epics are far better than legendaries, but I also care about looks. I'm trying to build a set of gear out of the Assassin's pieces but so far I've only found a few of them. Is there any way to find more pieces of this set?

I'm asking because I've noticed that epic gear you get isn't random. Certain styles will drop from certain things, like the spartan and athenian gear from the polemarch quests.

Just do invasions you get two piece's of epic gear each time. Even if you have to reduce a regions strength. You can still get epics doing that as drops.

Spend the 20 Ore things at the special shop. It rolls on a epic or legend item and a chance at ingame shop items.

Look at the Merc's see if they have anything you want. Hunt Merc's even if they don't because as they die they drop hints of another Merc's identiy who may have somthing you want.

Also just start putting all your purples and yellows in your ships chest.

Wow I haven’t thought about the chest on the ship since the start of the game, I forgot it existed.

I’ve been doing quite a few invasions but I don’t think they drop the style of gear I want.

Thanks for the tips

Also, blacksmiths are selling quite some purples each

Once you have unlocked fast travel, it is easy to visit them, checking for purples with the right stats / look

Oh right, another great tip

I have hit level 50 and have my "endgame" items. I never sold any purples so I have tons of them in my ship chest. There isn't any need to farm them, you'll get plenty just by playing.

I specialised for assassin's damage and just upgraded and engraved the best pieces.

Legendry weapons don't have set bonuses so they're pretty good.

Yeah I made the mistake of dismantling all of mine because I just wanted to use the legendary sets, but now I realize that epics are considerably better.

After going to every blacksmith on the map multiple times, I've found out that blacksmiths don't have the assassin style I'm looking for. In fact they usually only have a few styles (athenian, misthios, bandit) that in my opinion look pretty terrible.
