Female armour
Why is there only one set of female armour? I think the option to play as a female was an after thought, W e know RL Spatans didnt have special armour for the women, but even Skyrim has female armour! lazy devs. :steamsad:

why bother make female armor when kassandra basically looks like a man. same morphologie as alexios, quite sure they used the same skeleton for both char based on a man body, and muscles.

Someone has clearly never watched Xena.

you mean xena with lucy lawless ? yes i watched it , so ?

Would you say Xena was manly? Unfeminine? They designed Kassandra as the canon character, she is designed to be built with the musculature of a warrior, a fighter.

In no way is she the same skeleton as Alexios. Having played her, and watched my husband play him for many many hours, His shoulders are broader as is his chest and neck. His waist is straight compared to Kassandras which has the appropriate curve. His arms are slightly thicker as are his legs.

Or is Kass supposed to be built like the typical rpg female with noodle arms and boob plate armor and tiny little waist looking like she couldn't lift a sword let alone swing it?

Has anyone here ever made armor for women? I have. I helped someone forge it, anyway. It can be done. Most historically athletic female warriors probably didn't need much extra room up there though, because they weren't nearly as "top-heavy" like some of the ones requesting armor in RL.

That said, I think it's just a "game practicality" that she wears the armor she finds and it's mostly from male enemies that she's taken it... sure, there are some female enemies in the game, but the devs probably decided it wasn't what they wanted to spend time doing, making different sets. Who knows. We'll probably never know.

If you want boob armor, go to Skyrim.

It's not lazy development, it simply isn't realistic considering that armors were mass produced for the armies.

There's no female or male armour.

There's just armour. Deal with it.

If you're talking about armored boobs, they would defeat the purpose of armor being curved by directing a blow directly to the center of the chest. No armor, ANYWHERE, had boobs.

Again, Ubisoft is known never actually fans-servicing their loyal supporters, so it's basically a take it or leave it situation, beside you can still see Kassandra's ugly pixelated *cough* ehm, from below the cliff, anyway, a one or two fan service stuff will be great though, sadly it never exists in any Ubisoft's games

I disagree. it's the exact same body mesh, only very, very slightly altered if at all. Heck, they even forgot to remove her Adam's apple for Pete's sake! :steamfacepalm:

aahh Xena ( lucy lawless ), such a beauty, you can see lucy lawless body shapes in spartacus tv show too where she appears naked. she is a gorgious woman.
Sadly kassandra has nothing to see with xena. too many muscle and too much fitness , she is more like those 100 m olympics runner., but the ones that uses stéroids. look at any screenshot of kasandra in that bikini during olympic game sequence, it's pretty obvious;

thus, why allowing mods is a must for any game today ... beyond extending the games life expectancy ... modders efforts fill voids / niches ... that limited "Dev time/budget or simply lack of vision... fails to address on any given IP. For everyone's vision will never be satisfied ... so let the Modders LOOSE!

Besides ... I repeat myself when I say here ... Ubisolf needs to be run less by accountants and their 1 quarter budget return time lines and feel the freedom that Skryrim has brought to Bethesda .... Let the MODDERS loose on your games!!! and Odssesy is sooooo a perfect game to start with... hope you act fast Ubi!

No, mods do not need to be a thing for every single game.

Armor shape was universal. One size fits all most of the time. It used to be just tying up plates on the chest. Men or women, those who need it they make their own.... Not to mention in the old days, most women who are not obese have flat chest, they look like men.

My opinionis that : the armor design is correct, the woman armors are the one specially crafted for kassandra.

I do agree if odyssey open the gate for modders, the game might attract more players, but it depends.
