Female armour

Why is there only one set of female armour? I think the option to play as a female was an after thought, W e know RL Spatans didnt have special armour for the women, but even Skyrim has female armour! lazy devs.

I want to say RL anything didn't have any special armor for women because well, you didn't need to in order for it worn unless I"m greatly mistaken.

According to the Devs Kassandra is the canon protagonist of the story so I doubt she was an after thought. Probably more of a case where they have so many armor sets and didn't want to have to specially form every set in the game to male and female varients. If they keep up with the RPG elements, or at least the option of playing female, we can maybe expect more effort into gender specific armor varients next time.

2 sets of legendary seem female-focused to me. Amazonian and Artemis sets. Granted, 2 is not meaningfully more than 1 in this case; I was just letting you know.

Because there is no such thing as "female armor".
In cases where woman fought in history they typically wore the same armor as the man.
Just look at Kassandra, she has the body of a professional mercenary with a sturdy muscled build.
Why would she need special "female armor"?
The only reason most female armor exist in video games is to show more skin and giving the woman armor boobplates because " if dont have visible boobs, how woman?" logic most preteen male gamers seems to have.

May have been an after thought, but Kassandra is a much better character and the VO actress is much better than the male option. I even like the story better as kassandra. Game producers need to understand that playable female characters are always the publics fave. This fact has remained true ever sense the days of the original Street Fighter and Mortal Combat games for nentendo, and sega genisis.

Put a woman in armor. Unless you mean "sexy" armor, in which case no. Just...no.

Unless Kassandra has her own amorsmith, I think it would make sense to wear whats most commonly mass produced. You are thinking too much along the line of MMOs.

They've actually stated that it was Alexios who was the after thought, the reason there are almost no female armors is because, historically, there is rarely any difference between male and female armor - especially when you're stripping enemies for their armor, it's not going to magically grow boob plate.

why bother make female armor when kassandra basically looks like a man. same morphologie as alexios, quite sure they used the same skeleton for both char based on a man body, and muscles.
