That being said, it's true that Brasidas was killed at Amphipolis in 422 B.C., so to be historically accurate, they did have to kill him off. Of course, they weren't entirely accurate. Brasidas actually took some time to die. Supposedly, he "lived long enough to hear of the Athenian defeat" before passing. This means that Deimos killing him instantly like he/she did was completely inaccurate. It would have been more accurate had Deimos stabbed Brasidas in the chest or stomach and then had Alexios/Kassandra be the one to give Brasidas the news of the Spartan victory just in time for Brasidas to die.
Probably would've been more touching, too.
We needed a lot more Brasidas in the game. Seriously. Romancable or not, he should've been a much more prominent character than he was.
Same for Phoibe, but that's another rant.
