Anyone else would love if Brasidas was Romanceable? Spoiler warning
i think he is the only male npc i would pick for my Straight Kassandra Romance. i wish romance in this game were done in a more permanent meaninful way other than just one night stands.

is it possible to keep him alive?

Nope, he always gets killed by Deimos in that sequence.

I loved Brasidas as a bro. Stentor can ♥♥♥♥ off.

Atleast let me have Brasidas as a lieutenant.

Why would you like a romance with an equal warrior when you can do it with an unethic feathered coward like Alkibiades? thought some illuminated mind at UBI...

I'm totally there with you. Whether you play as Alexios or Kassandra, Brasidas is probably the only NPC you actually have chemistry with (and holy cow, what chemistry!). Even though he's killed, I still think you should've had the option to romance him- and to have an ongoing romance with him, at that. Brasidas is Alexios/Kassandra's only equal in physical and mental prowess, and is the only male character I would ever consider shipping Alexios with.

That being said, it's true that Brasidas was killed at Amphipolis in 422 B.C., so to be historically accurate, they did have to kill him off. Of course, they weren't entirely accurate. Brasidas actually took some time to die. Supposedly, he "lived long enough to hear of the Athenian defeat" before passing. This means that Deimos killing him instantly like he/she did was completely inaccurate. It would have been more accurate had Deimos stabbed Brasidas in the chest or stomach and then had Alexios/Kassandra be the one to give Brasidas the news of the Spartan victory just in time for Brasidas to die.

Probably would've been more touching, too.

We needed a lot more Brasidas in the game. Seriously. Romancable or not, he should've been a much more prominent character than he was.

Same for Phoibe, but that's another rant.

This is Greek mythology. If a mighty hero wants to meet an old flame, then have a little chat with somebody in charge to see if you can't come to an arrangement. (In other words, check out the Atlantis DLC. The First Blade DLC can give you a romance that's more than a single <ahem> picnic, too.)
