Do you have to use the off hand spear head?

I know it means something to him, but is there no way to equip a wep where the main character doesn't havet o use the spear head? Or just simply use 1 weapon instead of 2?

The spear head is Odyssey's equivalent of the hidden blade from previous AC games. You always have it equipped. You can eventually equip two weapons and switch between them on the fly, but you will always have the spear head used for assassinations.

U duel wield it with short weapons like sword and dagger or use it automatically for assassination animation. U always auto equip it and is essential for story progression.

There is no way for u to remove it because of the story as well as its your family heirloom. The only way to "not using" it is equipping a 2handed weapon.

Are there any two handed weapons for melee? I dont mind using it for assassinations but i dont want to use it as my offhand in melee combat..

Lots of them. Staffs, axes, maces, scythes, etc.

I only observed that in my game, assassination is always using the leonidas spear to drive thrugh the enemy skull or body whether or not i am equipping a mace or axe or spear.

I dont recall seeing my kicksandra uses a hammer to assassinate the enemy.

Do take note finishing move will use your equipped weapon for animation but not stealth assassination animation.

every weapon in your inventory below the dagger slot are 2 handed weapons.

personally dont like the fact that i cant just use a sword. i have to dual wield?? kinda gives a more arcade feeling. really shouldve added the option to use just a sword or dagger in combat
