Main Quest disappeared after quest"ashes to ashes"

I chose to save the baby and the evil woman ran away. The main quest just disappeared and my last save was 4,5 hours ago. I really do not have another 4 or 5 hours to spend just to get to the current quest but I cannot proceed with the story line. Does anyone have this issue?

I'm slightly different - I started Ashes to Ashes, got to the alter and cannot interact with it.

I'm feeling like a pretty big sucker. I played once through and got stuck at level 38 because Ashes to Ashes never began. I start over, knowing I have to be mindful not to miss anything. Show up as level 37 and the exact same thing happens. If this game came on a disc, I'd light it on fire.

i have the same issue. i guess i did the mistake not goin to that small altar of apollo first wich is very close to the building with the baby and them cultistguards. It has a bloody bird on it and u can interact with it when u go there before you head to that building.

That ruined my save and i cant progress to chapter 6. I spent 60+ hour after that mainquest disappeared because i thought thats normal that you have to explore more first before u can continue but now i know that its clearly a bug
104 hours of gaming for nothing, only raging :(

after you reasue the baby and talk to it mother, head back to city; just before you get there, there woman with quest (!) that quest will take you to the cultist. you be searching for the quest giver's husband.

i have no questmarker, the cultist is unveiled and dead and there is no more quest exept for the "upgrade the spear" wich is in my case lvl 5 and 14/22 cultists reveiled to get to lvl6.

So please devs - 1 question - will this be fixed or should i ask for a refund because of faultiy product?

i wont replay 104 hours

there is a yellow question mark on the map not quest log, go there and it should carry on the story.

the bug is the marker is yellow not golden to indicate its a story mission and doesnt show on quest log.

there is no questionmark- no nothing :( i reveiled the whole map already
maybe you could link a screenshot with location on map so i could find npc without marker? or describe a lil more exact ;)

not only buggy - its a gamebreaking bug since you cant progress on from chapter 5 if you dont have a save because you wandered around for too long :(

the map is great when u look for locations or mats but what i would need is a map showing npc locations and triggerpoints

now i found the exact issue. after watching some vids i remember that i helped that woman on the bridge cryin for her husband in the woods nearby. I must have gone there killed the cultist and died right after or havent picked up the fragment. So i am there now and there is nothing. No woman on bridge anymore and cultist still missing to be finished off :(. so i guess unless ubisoft fixes that issue i am f....ed
anyone knows a workaround?
