Dagger of kronus and assassination?

Is it only me or does the dagger's 40% damage increase while attacking from behind does not apply to assassination damages? I tried 'assassinating' a level 41 mercenary from front and back thorugh the power of quicksaves and found that in both cases the damage was virtually the same. So... no 40% boost to assassination?

Well, you use a spear to assassinate, so I'd imagine daggers from behind wouldn't count for assasinations, but rather when you turn an enemy around or attack them from behind.

lol if you put Devastating shot ot multishot 20% increase on a dagger it still applies to your damage when using bow. its just bugged like 7 other skills, immortal set bonus is bugged if your using certain staffs, agaamem armor skill bugs when it mid-air. etc and etc.
