Follow that boat! *GLITCH*

I'm not sure exactly how it happened but I didn't immediatly track the Follow That Boat quest and instead of following the girl to the Harbor I wend off and did a side quest instead. Now, when I track the quest no markers show up. When I head to the harbour I see the pirate ship waiting there and when I board the Adresta it spots me and starts to run.

After the fight the girl you are supposed to rescue doesn't innitiate the conversation. What am I doing wrong.

I have advanced seven levels since the quest popped up and I cannot proceed with the storyline quests until I finish this one.

Please Help!

Ok I just found the quest giver and she's dead...

Is there any fix for this except going back a few days gameplay?

lol so my quest marker is in the middle of the ocean, 300 metres down, really need a fix. I followed the girl to the port but my boat was docked there. is it possible that i accidentally destroyed the boat?

That's a new one to me...

yep so it turns out that when i first travelled to Korinth i attacked the ship in the harbour because it was a high alert area and it began attacking me. so when i accepted the quest, it was like 300m below the sea between argolis and the islands... Is there an underworld??? :O

Just reloaded a save from before i destroyed the ship, fixed it.
