no umbrella or skin care in the past. Besides, 30s are old people in the past.

I find Kassandra very attractive.

I say late 20's early to mid 30's then again the life expectancy was probably 40.

'yeah I was assuming it was about ten years, but it had to be long eneugh for Demios to grow up, so 15+ years seems likely. So yeah by the end of Oddessy Cassnadra.Alexios must have, for the era, been getting quite old, if we assume Demios was 15 (historical dramas making people look older is something thats done, consider GOT,) and Kassandra/Alexos was a "willfulo 6 year old" at the time, that sets a MINIMUM age for them at the start of the game at 20 (and mid 20s is far fmore likely) and then factor in that the time period in Oddessy is a ten year period, (from 431 to 421 BC we can date this EXACTLY thanks to some of the historical events, ya know if the name Oddessy didn't clue you in) so it's possiable Kassandra/Alexios was 35 by the end of it. that's quite old for the ancient world.

Yeh it was stated. Kass was 11 when she fell off the mountain and Alex was not even fully 1? yet. So kass being 26 now that means Alex is a very old looking (maybe it was meth) 16 year old, he acts like it in a mentally-angsty way it seems.

No lie tho, Alex looks like he has about 10 years on his much older sister.

well I mentioned game of thrones for a specific reason. in the GOT novels many of the characters are fairly young (IIRC Sansa was like 12 or 13, for example) but in the series the actors portraying them are MUCH older. this is due to the way we perceive age being differant. we do not see an ADULT when we look at a 14 year old. but yeah.. it's ENTIRELY possiable that by the end of Oddessy, Kass is pushing 40. Maybe in the offical timeline she got the staff well before the end of her ten year Oddessy?

Why won't that misrepresentation of the data ever die?

Their life span was no different than ours. The normal life span of humans has pretty much remained the same since we've been, well, humans.

What's increased is life expectancy. But it's not because we died of old age at 40. LOL We died because of disease and pestilence, accidents, and whatnot before modern medicine was around.

ETA: And you're wrong on both counts because according to Google, the life expectancy in ancient Greece was 70 years. So 35 is "quiet old?" Really?

Exactly. Your chance as a normal peasant to reach a high age was not very good, but that was like you said because of poverty, poor diet and lack of medical treatments.
If you look at hte birth/death dates of famous kings or nobility in that time, they usually lived into their 80s or so, just like today because they did not have the harsh living conditions as the normal populace.

for a mercenary, she is godly, untouchable, and very strong, try lifting a 5 feet hammer and swing it all day in your late 20s early 30s. Plus mountain climbing and sailing. Not all olympian athletes can endure this kind of activities.

But yes, TIL about life expectancy for old time and current era.

Common misconception. People ON AVERAGE lived to be 30. Infant/child death brought the average down. If you lived to be an adult, you were likely to live to be in your 50's.

So if the character you play was about 11 when they were thrown off the cliff, and baby was around 1 does that mean your mother left you with Nic to go get pregnant by your real father or is Nicolas your sibs real father?
