I thought Kassandra was pretty well done given the script. She didnt feel THAT out of place when it came to Ancient Greece but there were some moments where it was a bit strange but nothing was too jarring. But to be entirely fair to Odyssey, Kassandra doesn't feel near as forced as female Eivor being the canon choice for Valhalla.
I couldn't play with alexio for two minutes because the voice work is terrible. The same thing happens to me with Valhalla.
One day you may realise that you are also heterosexual and then you ask yourself why should a stare at a male butt instead of a female one ;)
lol, if you stare on the butt of your character than thats your problem though, people like to get into the role of a character, i am male so thats way easier with a male character than it is with a female character i cant identify with.
what i see is not a butt, its awesome looking gear, a warrior and his sourroundings.
One Day you stop thinking with your genitals grow up and stop sexualizing pixals and can enjoy a game no matter what character you choose.
It is all pixels on a screen on a fantasy world, no matter if you are Lara Croft, Duke Nuken, a random marine killing demons or an animal you dont know exactly if is a he or a she like Ori.
my preference usually is female because of growing up playing Tomb Raider, Resident Evils with female option and some other games where female option or protagonist on a 3rd person view game is there, but a male playable character is also wellcome and iff it is just male protagonist such as Hitman, 007 games, etc, it is also all good the same as it is just a playable character.
These games don't really do a great job at what I want TBH because they treat both the male and female PCs identically. I understand that they're wanting to give people 'the same experience' regardless of whether they want to play as male or female (and that's OK), but it's not as interesting to me. I really like it in games like Dragon Age where your character's attributes impact how they are treated.
some pics to prove my point
