Is the Cave of Kratos one way only?

I went in from the Phokis side and it leads to the Malis region. I still had a couple of missions to clean up but couldn't manage to climb out the way I came in.
Is it possible, or did I just miss the proper path?

99% percent of the terrain in this game is climbable. I know exactly the place you're talking about and I don't recall it being a one way trip(most places even for tombs will have a convenient exit), but for me I just start climbing up again on the other end into the mountains after Kass makes that mental note of the scenery becuz I was trying to find the bears.
