It does not matter which side you support at all. You can switch regions as often as you like, there are zero consequences in the story. You are nothing but a low mercenary. Regions often switch on their own, they fight even if you dont get involved.
If you mean from roleplay perspective, Spartan NPCs wont care, I think.
ok. thanks
if you just ignore it for a while a new leader comes in, the forts repopulate and the power goes back to full
it is confusing as youre supposed to be helping one side and have no ties to the other
Because helping a side win the war would go against what the story tries to tell you:
that the war is pointless and needs to be stopped because otherwise you just do what the cult wants
You have no ties to either side, you are just a common mercenary. Neither side "cares" about your support , they just hire you to fight. You never are one of them, no matter how often you help a faction.
I just got a message board quest a few minutes ago where the NPC just said that, that she would help whoever pays the most. You are not a soldier, you are a mercenary, all that matters is who pays the most.
but you still have no loyalty to ether side you just a man for the right coin.
