Hate the main menu music
I dont have issues with the rest of the game when it comes to music and sound, but for ♥♥♥♥♥ sake let me chill when Im in the main menu, I just want to check the map and whatever and after a few seconds this buildup starts and all the suddent OOOOHHHH OOHHH OOHH OOOAAAHHH, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ moaning t-rex I just want to chill.

I dont think there is a way to disable this, but whatever.

I dunno how the files for the game look like, but if those are loose instead of packaged you should be able to replace main menu song with another one. Just replace the file that's labeled as "main menu music.mp3/flac/wav/ogg/whatever" with some other file with the same name and you're done. Otherwise maybe try to find a file viewer and manually replace it from a package?

I love it for the short spurts that I’m in the menu, but I agree it grates after a bit. If I pause and go to take care of something, those “Oooooh AaaaaaAAAHH!” get annoying fast.

We all have our differences I guess, good game otherwise.

You can turn music off totally and then you can play whatever you want from youtube... or you can play without music totally... But Im sure there isnt another way to disable that "main menu song"....

You can lower the frequency the music starts playing from the main menu, but I think that only applies to exploring the game world.

There is probably a music file which I can delete, but the problem is if the game even start after that..

I will actually test it later on and see whats happen, personally I would prefer to have no to little music in the main menu.

This is actually a great idea. If it’s anything similar to Dragons Dogma, you can pick and choose which tracks to remove and with what to replace. That game’s soundtrack was epic as Hel because I made it that way. If I can do the same here, going to find a boss track to replace with “Immigrant Song”

Doesn't even know what that song means or is called. You just started this series?

This is really a good idea if it works.

Well, then dont delete it... ! only cut - paste somewhere... then try if it works.... if not, put that file again back where it was... (or you ll be screwed if you totally delete that file, game will not start - and you ll have to reinstall that 40 GB lol)

You won’t have to do a complete reinstall. Just verify the game files and steam will download what’s missing.
