Should i buy Far Cry 5 or AC Odyssey?

Far Cry 5 is terrible.

Very little variety between weapons of a certain type

Very few customization options

You're tethered to your coop partner

It is fairly short - I beat the main story and most of the side quests, in about 38 hours (but that includes playtime on a friend's game).

Odyssey. I just love the story telling. At first I picked the female character just because I was curious, but the acting and story telling kept me going and it just keeps getting better and better. There are little gestures she does, looks she gives, or things she says that just makes the moment come alive and breathes life into the character like few games have done before.

Farcry 5 was a great game but it felt more like a modern action movie, whereas Odyssey is an epic.

I also loved Origins but I didn't care for the main character Bayek they way I feel for Kassandra. Her story brought a tear to my eyes at one point.

I feel like Odyssey is a masterpiece so far.

Odyssey, but it's your choice. I played maybe 5 hours of FC5 and got bored very fast, I've played 15+ hours of Odyssey and feel like I'm addicted.

FC5 has a pretty good story line but yeah everything is better in AC Odyssey imo

Far Cry is stil very "samey." Literally if you've played one game of the series you've played them all. Atleast the newer Assassin's Creed games are changing up it's formula, so I'd say go with Odyssey.
