It's just a bit immersion breaking. A toggle in the options menu would sort this out though - "Wear headgear in cutscenes, yes or no". Easy.
i personally think that the reason to not have the helmet on in dialogues for the developers is because that would lead to strange situations with some relationship dialogues but that could be solved by simply excluding that specific ones from the option.
But that's your opinion. I don't share it. This game is an RPG, it'd be nice to have the choice with respect of how we present our characters in cutscenes rather than the game making that decision for us.
A menu toggle would be an easy implementation I think and I hope the devs do include it in a patch.
itl be good if the charater was holding it in arm while talking
what is if you wear a eye patch or a crown? do they also disappear in dialogues or cutseens and if yes how would you explain that?
