Helmets in cutscenes
Be cool if they stayed on if we're wearing one rather than disappering and reappearing again.

You can easily explain this by saying you remove it to speak, while few npcs do this, it does happen.

a option to acitvate the helmet in dialogues and so on would still be nice though.

I mean sure, but why would my badass mercenary turn up to a fight with bandits, take his helmet off to talk to their leader, then quickly put it back on again. Surely he'd just keep it on?

It's just a bit immersion breaking. A toggle in the options menu would sort this out though - "Wear headgear in cutscenes, yes or no". Easy.

i personally think that the reason to not have the helmet on in dialogues for the developers is because that would lead to strange situations with some relationship dialogues but that could be solved by simply excluding that specific ones from the option.

I think that's exactly the reason why they simply removed all the headgear in cutscenes instead of checking each one regarding its awkwardness in certain cutscenes separately. I have no feelings of broken immersion because I can easily interpret the removal of headgear in dialogue as a common courtesy thing. On the contrary, keeping the headgear on in such scenes would likely often be immersion breaking. I vaguely remember that in some RPG I've played I even did not use headgear because of that.

But that's your opinion. I don't share it. This game is an RPG, it'd be nice to have the choice with respect of how we present our characters in cutscenes rather than the game making that decision for us.
A menu toggle would be an easy implementation I think and I hope the devs do include it in a patch.

but emotions!.
itl be good if the charater was holding it in arm while talking

Be amazing, but obviously that'd be a huge amount of work - a menu toggle, not so much, but it'd add SO much immersion for those of us who've grinded for a particular helmet to be able to see our protagonist actually wearing it.
I prefer much more without helmet in cutscenes so you can see the MC's emotions and expressions, but it never hurts to have the option to toggle helmet on for those who want that.

I don't know why game developers keep doing this. I mean they even included a hide helm option, why not a show helm option...

The running theme here is choice. We want to CHOOSE if we want them on or not. Scenes involving kissing (romance scenes obviously) would still have them removed, it would probably require a specific line of code or two to work properly, but still.... CHOICE!
Same even the character just holding it under his arm would be cool but i couldnt imagine it being so much work enabeling helmets in cutscenes

Surely they could have had 2-3 types of NPC, 1. Friendly (Helmet off) 2. Hostile (On) 3. etc

what is if you wear a eye patch or a crown? do they also disappear in dialogues or cutseens and if yes how would you explain that?

:)
