Horse is so much dumber than in Origins

Title says it all. SOmehow the horse in this game just keeps running away.
I understand they dont want it to be in the way but chasing it all the time might not be the best option either. I prefer the way it was in Origins.

Yeah that can get annoying from time to time. Just stop moving for a second and he'll settle down. You can also whistle for him while you're running and he'll run up behind you and your character will auto-mount him without missing a step.

Hell, if you hold X while you're running, the Horse will run up to you and you'll (theoretically) mount it automatically (in reality you usually have to tap E, but it makes mounting on the go easier, nonetheless). This is really useful if you have to run from a fight.

I know how to call the horse, but sometimes it will keep running. When it's just standing there and you approach it to get on it it will start running away too. It just got worse than before for no good reason.

It does'nt like you. Try being nice to him/her. feed it, wash it, groom it and sing to it. But most of all don't fcking cruel to it.

I agree, the horse is absolute garbage in this one. If it's not playing keep-away by staying 2 feet out of mount range, then it's taking forever to figure out how to get to you. 95% of the time, I call it, start running to a location, and the horse finally reaches me about 20 feet from my target. Of course, that's if you're even allowed to call it, since the majority of the game is in restricted areas, so "Phobos not available" is what you see most of the time.

Thanks for nothing, horse. I'd call you Roach because of just how terrible you are, but you suck so damn hard that you don't even deserve a name.
