Deluxe, Gold, Whatever-Edition

Call me stupid, but I can't find any hints about what kind of extra content you'll get from buying the special editions. I can only choose to buy it, but there's no explanation. Any help would be nice.

So I bought the Gold Edition of Odyssey. What that did for me was gave me the season pass, ACIII Remastered and Liberations Remastered, as well as the early play of the game - I have been playing the game since October 2nd. The ultimate edition gives you more stuff, all that and like extra content. But I am not big on that stuff so I just bought the gold. Did well for me.

No problem. Yeah I mean... getting the Gold is pretty cool back before the game officially released plus, getting two extra games remastered and the season pass. I tend not to care for the micro transactions and that stuff. But different people different stuff. :)

Ubisoft games can be divided into 3 parts as far as DLC goes:

- Main Game
- Deluxe Pack
- Season Pass / Premium DLC

The main game is, well, the game. The Deluxe Pack is a bunch of extra fluff that is usually not required for anything - for this game the Deluxe Pack has just a bunch of skins and XP/money boosts. The Season Pass is actual gameplay content that will be released later, also available to buy as separate DLC packs.

So you get the following

Standard edition: Main game only
Deluxe edition: Main game + Deluxe pack
Gold edition: Main game + Season pass
Ultimate edition: Main game + Deluxe pack + Season pass

delux/gold = paying more for a game and getting stuff they removed purposefully from the main game to milk suckers...

Thank you for making this list. See? You did what nobody at Ubisoft could do to describe what you get if you want to buy it. I mean, you can't click on the editions in the store just to get the information... Or it doesn't work for me at least.

Gold is useless no Season Pass but Pack
Deluxe is a lure but has Season Pass
Ultimate has the SP and Pack
