HDR not turning off after I exit game.

I turned ON HDR in game setting... but when I exit game, my TV does not turn off HDR indicator. I have to restart TV for HDR to turn off.

I prefer my TV have HDR turned on, only when there is HDR content... Not all HDR indicator all the time.

Right click your desktop and choose display settings. Check to see if the game was forcing Windows HDR to turn on.

Consumer graphics cards don't output 10-bit HDR outside full screen applications unless you run a quadro or similar.. or has somthing changed?

it´s the same for me, desktop still running HDR when exiting game.

as randir14 said check the display settings toggle.
I have to turn it off every time I turn of the game

After checking... Yes, correct... This is what happened... It turned on Windows 10 HDR.

Even before installing game... I had played turning on HDR in Windows 10.... but colors were not correct. About 2 days ago... There was a Win 10 update (I think they called it October update)... and I had had not touched the Win 10 HDR... Now leaving HDR 10 on in Win 10... Colors look OK in movies... So... I guess... something changed in Win 10 with HDR.

But I still prefer after I exit game to turning off HDR in Win10... unless I watch content that enables HDR10.

In game... I do prefer HDR to be turned on.
