You can kill bunch of wild animals.
But even then, the game doesn't seem to be made for full stealth runs. Even if you do a critical assassination, it won't kill most captains (I'm playing on hard fyi).
You can start upgrading Mastery Levels once you hit level 50, so after you upgrade all the Assassin Damage related skills you might (and I stress might) be able to insta-kill all enemies with a critical assasination. But by the time you got there it would be extremely late-game.
So even if it is possible to do a full stealth run it would have to be on NG+.
I found pure assassin build is not viable since the game will ask you at some point to participate in a war.. you should invest a bit in hunter or warrior trees and make it assassin/warrior or assassin/hunter.
do u happen to know the name of the passive skill? I've looked through all the passive skill's description but couldn't find such a thing. Is it something not mentioned explicitly?
For getting adrenaline, assassins are the best at getting them. Upon a successful regular stealth kill or knock out, (ie, not using an ability as uses adrenaline like critical assassinate and rush assassinate), you gain a big chunk of adrenaline. Tier 3 Shadow assassin will give you an extra adrenaline segment, totaling 1.5 adrenaline. Combined with Archery Master, you'll get 2 adrenaline segments while you're undetected.
If you're starting out, you should have reached Megaris by now. There, Spartans and Athenian soldiers are hanging around. Walk up to them and took at the health bars, and swap out your gear to change your assassin damage. You'll notice that if you don't have enough assassin damage, the prompt on your screen will be "Unarmed Strike / Stealth Attack", and "Knock Out / Assassinate" if you do. If you have the Critical Assassination ability, it will also change between "Critical Assassination" and "Critical Stealth Attack" based on how much damage that ability will dish out on the guy you're standing next to. It does not take critical damage into account, but it should give you a good idea of the different types of enemy classes. Knowing enemy types is key to plan ahead in this stealth gameplay.
The basics are: get adrenaline from the weaker targets, and spend adrenaline on the tougher targets. Isolate the tougher ones if possible.
Now, because the game will throw a lot of wrenches in that plan, you have to get creative, and understanding how enemy behaves in the game is the key for better stealth results.
I've written a description of most of it here:

In short, you don't need max assassin damage to actually assassinate the toughest opponents if you familiarize with who they are, and how they behave under different situations.
i've checked around since I've deleted my AC:Od... the name is Shadow Assassin, you'll need to fully upgrade it before it grants you adrenaline.
and archery master will helps also.. since it regenerates partially filled adrenaline.
I think it's an engraving that gives you that ability.
Thanks for another useful tip :)
