Okay I’ve gotten to this point in the game where brasidas and Myrrine are at odds on dealing with Lagos.

Does convincing him to step down eliminate him from the cultist screen.
Or does convincing him count as dealing with him?

Btw I dealt with the monger quietly and non publicly
Is this the only requirement needed to convince him?

Yes, killing Monger in the cave is the only way to get Lagos on your side and yes, it will count as ''cultist defeated''.

You also need to do Brasidas quest to save Lagos family from the underground hideout. You can even do it when you agree with Myrrine while talking to both of them.
