Fate of Atlantis includes a hunt for four Keeper's Insights, which enable (but do not force) alternate versions of four specific abilities *if* you have invested three points in them. One of them provides an alternate version of Battlecry of Ares. While active, the alternate version disables all other abilities, but every hit does 35% of your Assassin damage -- and it has you using an intact Spear of Leonidas, so you have some sweeping range.
It's pretty glorious in conquest battles due to density of enemies.
I run a warrior build 99% of the time, but I decided to check out this skill and since it works off assassin damage I switched by build and gear to assassin and gave it a whirl. It's really overpowered for those 10 seconds, but the cool down is long. I would suggest putting mastery points into reducing cooldown times and also maybe running the cooldown engraving with this skill. But definitely try it out.
Yeah, I do the same; I only switched over to try this out and I liked it.
