[GUIDE] How To Recruit - Circe Of The Oceanids

Greetings,

this guide will explain how to recruit Circe, the bloodthirsty witch during the quest "Wine For The Swine" for the Lost Tales Of Greece story, "A Friend Worth Dying For".

The quest has a sort of a hidden ending, which allows the player to solve it peacefully and even recruit the witch instead of killing her. This hidden ending is all tied to a certain antidote plant found just at the south area of the temple.

Interacting with this plant will make the player state how the plant is a natural antivenom and that she should pick it up. If you interact with the plant and bring back the wine to Circe, her poisoned wine will not work on you and you will be able to continue talking with her, without killing her.

This will give you the final 3 options to either leave her, recruit her or kill her.

I've recruited Circe without gathering the antidote from that bush. I actually never knew it was there. How I got it is from following the main story where you go to the Olympics and you have to find an antidote for a friend which is in a fort. It's good to know that you can finish this quest much sooner than having to much later in the game .

I accidentally killed her last night. I saw all the animals around her from a distance and thought she was in danger, like one of those 'rescue the NPC in trouble here and then you can interact with them afterwards" things, but as soon as I started killing the animals she agroed on me and I was screwed. :-( I don't think I have a save file I can go back to without playing a couple days worth of quests, either. Ugh.
