AC is way more than assassins in the past, it is a fictional universe with thousands of years of history even before the assassin brotherhood existed and there is absolutely no reason to not make games in that times too. (like odyssey)
This is my first AC game and it's definitely doesn't look like Tomb Raider, Anthem, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, DOTA, For Honor or any other game I've seen - so it must be AC.
Plz don't bring your religious ♥♥♥♥♥ into games.
it is not really flying, it just has wing animations and dont take fall demage but other than that it is a normal horse.
both of those horses with wings are not part of the main game, they are content from the games ingame shop.
anyway that is not the first time in ACs history that the simulation gets manipulated to have things which were not really there.
I have played all of them.. but I don't think (for me) it's game play alone that defines a game. For me the story is related to the whole ac universe so it counts as an AC game.
Again everyone is allowed to have their opinion. I don't agree with OP. Doesn't mean I say it is wrong either.
Flying horse is just a skin and not part of the story. Doesn't fly anyway.
this, i am looking at the games from a universe perspective, not a gameplay perspective.
i have played every AC game available on pc except of liberation and the chronicle ones.
I didnt like AC 1, 2 and 3, I prefer the way they've gone with Origins which has evolved into Odyssey. But hey, to each their own.
So your complaint is this game has too much silly stuff for an AC game? I've only played AC Unity, and I've seen plenty of silly stuff in that, i.e. the main character is from 1700-1800's, yet he dodges modern-day trains in a subway station, and doesn't say even say a word about it, as if it's totally normal for him.
https://segmentnext.com/2018/10/04/flying-horse-assassins-creed-odyssey/ "A flying horse that can't fly". This guy is a troll, moving on.
