It's possible that OP stumbled across the lion and killed him without meeting the relevant NPC who'd be interested in it.

Go see the Daughters of Artemis; specifically, Daphnae.

Where do I find her?
before this several times the game has told me to follow a quest, I mean, when I have completed a goal without knowing it, the game tells me to speak with an npc for the reward, but this time nothing happened

Might be because this quest has several parts or because you never did Daphe's first quest. She's right next to the northernmost fast travel point in Phokis.
