Does Fate of Atlantis gets better?
First episode is just miserable. I think I close to finishing it but I absolutely hate it. Should I even bother?

I loved the entire DLC. It's a pitty that you can't connect to its story.

As usual, too little info provided for any proper discussion.

Why do you think it's miserable anyway?

Elysium is a bit of a drag because it feels similer to the base game in the sense that you're capturing zones the same as you do territories in Greece.

The game does get better tho, The next God you meet is alot more Interesting then Persephone, And the fight you have to get into his realm is pretty fun.

The third episode is of course Atlantis itself, Where you meet Poseiden. This DLC is fun too,And the weapons/armor you get are very nice. (Telling you who the god is because the main menu pretty much spoils it anyways)

Whoever wrote this DLC should be fired. Kassandra is supposed to go through some gates that Persephone guards, but she never goes to her directly and asks for entrance. Instead you're doing some fetch quests for Hermes, Hekate and sometimes for Persephone herself for no apparent reward. You're given weird dialogue options that are never what you want to say and in the end they all predictable betray you and you can't say anything in your defense, though the game implies you picked wrong option. I only liked Persephone and I'd rather make a deal with her to expose her enemies in exchange for entrance or something. But I couldn't. It's just a total drag and I couldn't care less for any it.

The Underworld with Hades was great! I thought Elysium and Atlantis were a drag. But all of the ability points given in each realm made it worth the completion.

Because everyone she's close to tells you that she doesn't let ANYONE through the gates.
Even when you help her and she claims to owe you a favor, she doesn't offer to let you through.
I'm gonna spoil a little bit by saying this: Hades and Persephone are very similer in the since that they like having their "toys". Both don't like letting people leave their realms, Because they are both prisoners of their own realms in a sense. There is a quote from hades that sums it up nicely: "A fate worse then death is living an eternity without toys"

There was a few missions where you could expose people to her. You can expose the traitor guard guy when persephone asks you to kill Leonidas, And you can expose Hekate if you choose the right dialogue options.

But I do agree that some of the options weren't what we'd want to say.

the story picks up after the 1st episode, the skills you unlock during them are cool....but after all the build up whether you enjoy the story of the dlcs or not you will be completely dissapointed by the lacluster ending.

felt the same way honestly, regretted picking up the gold edition. But I enjoyed the third chapter (atlantis) its worth continuing to play for that.

third chapter is great, and ya get a really good advanced power for Assassin builds. My only complaint for all em is getting around the maps can be a pain. Lots of mountains/water to traverse. Ive enjoyed all of em, atlantis just wins tho.

I never was able to get into any aspect of this game. I'm a huge AC fan, but Odyssey is just boring from start to finish. I never did finish it actually. Just last month I tried to at least finish the fate of Atlantis, and just couldn't. It's sooo boring! I have bought every AC game there is, but because Odyssey is so bad, I probably won't buy any new ones.

I started Hades and I agree it's not that bad.

Started Atlantis. After the initial "cool looking zone" I quickly got bored of the story and the constant having to check Google for choices which seem to make no sense. Breaks immersion. It's dragging on so much. Legacy of the first blade was better imo so far

The skill points are nice though
