Stuff to do if your bored
I discovered this when I was just rampaging through towns, I went unarmed with my fists starting knocking out some civilians and I gotten the highest bounty possible so while I was waiting around for those bois to arrive I got some of the knocked out bois and starting putting them on lit braziers, not the alarm braziers just some small ones in town and I discovered that they don't die if their knocked out just laying there and once I picked them up and put them down they spasm and die I tried this again without putting them down and once they weren't on fire I set them down, they still spazzed around but they didn't die! pretty funny to watch pretty sure you can do this with any npc.

EDIT: The mercenaries arrived and I did this with them and they just wake up and they grabbed a oar and destroyed me, pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ funny

You are so evil. There is nothing good inside of you, you are dead and emptier than hollows. You are a nightmare to this game..

I like you.

If you put them on the large braziers, they'll die but you won't get any XP (and it doesn't count as murder).

These things are super dangerous even to us, I am still struggling to make the perfect gear which gonna protect me 100% against elemental damage, I am going with ranged/melee resistance. The only way to get exactly what I want is to edit the stats on my own, and clearly, I don't want that.

I don't think 100% elemental resistance is possible, but you can get 90% melee/elemental/ranged all at once, between armor and masteries (and you can get 100% melee resistance with a specific melee weapon from a missable quest, from what I'm told). The build I'm using there does this, with a set of all epic-tier RNG items (and probably the +15 resist-all engraving from Greek Heroes) as well as 20/20 in the three resistance masteries.

Interesting thread, hahaha I like the sound of some of these suggestions! Thanks for sharing! :steamhappy:

Drowning falls under "fatal, but not murder and no XP", by the way.

FWIW, my 90%-resist all set basically uses (including custom engravings)

* 20/20 masteries in resist melee/ranged/elemental (each grants +15)
* helm: 24% warrior damage, 20% crit chance while full health, 30% ranged resistance, 40% chance to ignore half damage
* torso: 24% warrior damage, 20% elemental resist, +50% crit damage, +15% all resistances
* arms: 24% warrior damage, 20% elemental resist, 30% melee resist, 30% ranged resist
* waist: 24% warrior damage, 30% melee resist, +100% crit damage while full health, +10% crit chance
* feet: 24% warrior damage, 20% crit chance while full health, +20% elemental resist, +100% crit damage while full health

^^ so 3x +20% elemental resist, 2x +30% ranged, 2x +30% melee, +15% resist all => 75% resist all from armor, effectively; masteries provides the other +15 for each

All epics, although the +15% resist all engraving does require completing the Greek Heroes set.

+10% crit chance on bow, +10% crit chance on one of the melees (requires one of two specific weapons available in Lost Tales of Greece), 20/20 crit chance mastery (+5), 20/20 crit chance while full health mastery (+10), weapon master 3 for additional +10%, and base +5% => exactly 100% crit chance while at full health, 50% otherwise. The high resists + a 10% health restored on parry + some mastery points in heal proportional to damage done + some additional mastery into health restore on parry => makes it easier to stay at full health.

So while heavily defensive-focused, it's not completely terrible at offense: +243% warrior damage total, guaranteed crits for +504.5% damage when full health, 50% chance of +260.5% crits when wounded. It's obviously grossly inferior to dedicated offensive builds esp. hunter/assassin, though, when it comes to potential damage output.
