Someone left the aqueduct on :steamhappy:

I was wondering the same thing a couple of days ago. There doesn't appear to be any sub quests or in game info about it. Should have at least have some mention of the flooding in one of the quests.

It's not like they had a city planning department or a sewer system in ancient greece to prevent flooding, probably just too much rain.

They had these Underground cistern fed from a spring or from
groundwater infiltration , with stairs allowing to
reach the water
Mycenae, Athens, Tiryns (Mycenaean Greece) that was around 3000-1150 bce, and the game takes place after 500bce.

"Greek aqueducts were mostly made with
terracotta pipe elements ; they were generally buried and followed the slope of the land.
Water distribution inside the cities of this period is poorly documented."
that was around 8th century bce

pipes and pressure systems came around 1st century bce

plus all of that is irrelevant, the game characters don't acknowledge the existence of the flooding, so it probably is a bug with water height at that specific region, or maybe they didn't bother making the ai special around that location, if it's an "actual"(in story sense) flooding of maybe an underground aqueduct raising above the floor level
