Hey! Sorry to hear that you are also encountering this issue. Would you be able to provide a video showing this issue as I am unable to see that it has been reported to us before.

Thanks for finding that for us.
Unfortunately as this video was recorded prior to a number of updates to ACOD we would need to see a video taken on the latest version of the game. I'm sorry to here you've deleted the game but if you did decide to return to it and you're able to capture this please let us know.

A very late response but I too had this bug happen on PC around the same time as OP above did, never happened to me on Xbox but only PC.
Tried it again in December of 2024 even with a fresh install and a brand new save it happened yet again after wanting to give the game another playthrough but then I was stuck at this wall yet again and it stops all your progress, there's not much point in getting a more up to date video.
You knock on the door and you just freeze in place but everything around you moves however nothing progresses.
If the issue persists despite the game being fully updated, I suggest reloading your previous/most recent save if you haven't already. If this still does not resolve the issue, you may need to start the game on a new save.
