There's still one unobtainable achievement - Old Flames Burns Brighter.
Perhaps that's the real Epilogue to Odyssey.
Ubi staff refused to comment on it though, and I can't find anything on Google.
So that actually halts me from starting the New Game+. And I've already 100% the game, so I don't know what's there left to do.
PS . due to the story that could continue i do hope they will finally bring us to ''Mount Olympus'' or meet Zeus and Athena as we see in the story Alexios or his sister mention a few time about ''Zeus'' quite often.
The last DLC [ Fate of Atlantis episode 3 ] make me feel abit weird because Alexios had destroyed that city but we can still come back later after the story is all end ..anyway is still good to walk around and seeing things even there are no side quest to complete anymore .
@Chevalier: you're forgetting that Atlantis was just a simulation. There's no reason Alexios shouldn't be able to go back after he "destroyed" it.
I sure hope so. The ending of Episode 3 flopped harder than a dead hippo got tossed out of a plane without a chute.
But if that's the case, then how come it seems everybody got the consensus that Judgement of Atlantis is the end of Odyssey's life span?
Stopping its development in current state - when there is a lot of money to be had - would be crazy. As crazy as a game about Greece without Mt. Olympus on the map.
PS. perhaps they should do a big turn that Alethia desire to use the staff and make Alexios and Kassandra back to life to continue their journey instead of giving to Layla [ as we see Alethia can touch things such as hold the staff ]...haha who know anything can happen. [ sorry for my foolish imagination but i am sure people gonna love it .]
Nah, I guess it's time for some Otso Berg.
This. I dont give a single ♥♥♥♥ about the future storyline with the Templer/Assassins/whatever stuff.
Has lost me like 5 games ago in the series.
The Odyssey main game did the right thing and kept it in the background as far as possible.
The reason why they should do that was obvious with this DLC.
The future stuff is just a plain boring and convoluted mess by this point.
Barely anybody gives a single ♥♥♥♥ about Layla or the other characters in that timeline.
Agreed, it was a neat plot initially with the very first game, discovering things, etc, but after so many shoddy modern day sequences, the real game and plot, imo, was always the history and backstory of the setting.
That being said, the Isu stuff in the ancient setting was of "some" interest, however it felt kind of rushed, and all over the place story wise. The Eagle Bearer's/Keeper's whole plot revolved around Atlantis, and now that he/she handed the Staff off to Layla, what is Layla's purpose? It's not explained at all. Go through trials, learn about the staff, for what? Just to sit around and go back into the animus? Then there's the part with The Eagle Bearer wanting to say goodbye to friends, but there is no closure there either. Though I'm thinking that might be the last Lost Tale of Greece.
Such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ending to the last story sequence of the game. If it alluded to the next game, then that would have been tolerable, but it did not.
