FPS drops
Game is running good, but i'm getting fps drop to ~10 fps every minute, it is very annoying, i have turned off fast startup and capped 45 fps cap, nothing helps.

i5-7300HQ
GTX 1060 6GB
8GB DDR4

EDIT: After one week of searching, i have found only solution, making 1080p native resolution somehow makes those fps drops, so i did 720p upscaled to 1440p (200%), i think it looks maybe even better and fps drops is gone, so if someone has the same problem, try this.

It is likely that your cpu is thermal throttling.

Check your CPU and GPU usage and temps during drops, I have a feeling it's your weak laptop CPU.
Lukutis Aug 15, 2019 @ 3:36am
I have checked it, temps are ~85, usage 100%, clock speed stable 2500mhz. It's impossible, because i have played 20h cracked version of this games and i didn't got anything like this, framerate was 35-40 all the time, without any drops to like 10fps every minute, now i bought gold edition of this games and i think i did a mistake. Impossible to play, every damn minute fps drops like for a milisecond and i it is so annoying, saw other posts about fast startup and 45fps cap, nothing helped, i even tried some older drivers including that old gameready driver, still getting drops no matter what i do. Maybe do you have any ideas ? I just finished AC Origins without any problems, my cpu itself is not that bad at all, only this game i have problems with. It isn't CPU's fault, most likely with latest patch came ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bug. Do you have any ideas how i could stop those drops ? I mean they exactly every minute drops to like ~10-15fps for a milisecond

If your CPU is at 100% it is indeed your CPUs fault, it's weaker then todays budget i3's.

But somehow, i didn't had any issues with AC Origins and cracked version of Odyssey, so it's not CPU's fault, because of those frame drops.

It could be thermal throttling, if you clean it from dust (in case there is any) it might solve the problem.

So then, why cracked version doesn't have any FPS drops ? It can't be CPU's thermal throttling, i even did stress test on it, everything goes without problems.

How long ago did you play the cracked version? Also are you absolutely certain that you didn't change any settings?
Lukutis Aug 15, 2019 @ 4:32am
I didn't delete it, i have both cracked and legit, on cracked i'm playing on 1080p@High and same on legt version, everything feels same except on legit one, there is fps drop exactly every minute and it is very annoying
On cracked, yes game is using 100% of my CPU, but i don't have problems with it, there is no FPS drops, why the hell there is on legit version ? I believe because of those new updates.

It is likely the most recent patch that did it and your cracked game is likely running in old version.
sacros Aug 15, 2019 @ 6:05am
Huh, surprised noone blamed drm yet. Anyway, instead of 1080p@high, try 1080p@low or 720p@low if you want stability.

Nothing helps, even on lowest settings is the same, maybe there is some problems with page file ? I have 128GB SSD + 2TB HDD, OS is installed in ssd, game is installed in hdd, page file is set auto, maybe i should change something ?

I just had pauze because of the textures not loading fast, i haven't this thing even once in a cracked version! Could the be a problem in a hdd or ram related things ?

That's likely your HDD causing texture pop ins.

Not much you can do, I'm afraid. This game make even octacore CPUs suffer, probably those frame drops come from the CPU being at 100%.. Try to close as many programs in the background as possible, that'll also lower your ram usage. It's pretty low for running this game at high settings 1080p.
And IIRC, the "green Steam" version is still using an old update, that's most likely the reason why it performs better than a legit copy up to date. Dunno why they did but since last update, performace dropped significantly.
