I don't remember exactly what gear/weapons I was using, but my archer had both the Falx of Olympos (+100% Damage but Health Capped to 25%) and the Blade of Yumminess (“+250% all damage but cannot use Abilities”) equipped
So, whenever Medusa brought the statues to life, my archer hit them from afar, so no statue got anywhere near me - and I also made sure to keep hidden behind a pillar, so Medusa's ray didn't hit me. Since I was doing a lot of damage, 2/3 hits and the statues were history.
When Medusa herself was fighting, it was time for the warrior - hide behind a pillar when she did the ray thing, then run in circles while approaching her to avoid the things from the sky (or what is from the floor? Sorry, don't remember) then hit her with either the hero strike or the rush assassination (and one hit from my weapon while waiting for the abilities to cooldown)
Edit: forgot to say, since you're not gonna use any abilities with the archer (because of the Blade of Yumminess) make sure you're using death arrows on those statues
Edit2: and don't forget to use the heal ability as soon as you change from archer to warrior
In addition to the help other players have already given you, there's been tons of great tips shared on threads here about defeating Medusa.
You can find some really good ones Here.
Hope this helps, and good luck defeating her!
I used arrows to take her out. Made sure I had all the arrow types available and cycled through them (don't forget you can craft arrows even during combat if you run out). You can get a few shots in before she shoots the beam at you. Make sure you start moving as soon as she teleports so you can get yourself behind an appropriate pillar and fire from behind it.
Have the heal and shield break abilites available for when she summons the statues to fight you. I don't know if they're particularly vulnerable to blunt weapons, but I found the one I had equipped at the time as my secondary weapon seemed to work better against them than my poison sword.
The gear itself wasn't that special, but combined they made it so Medusa's grab attack was only doing maybe 1/10 of my health.
The only dangerous attack she has is the laser but if you time your dodge roll correctly you can easily close the gap and avoid damage.
Exactly this.
First, have the Minotaur's Labrys equipped as one of your weapons. You don't actually have to use it, just have it equipped so you get the -1 adrenaline requirement for overpower attacks. Then just equip whatever other weapon you want, it doesn't matter. It also helps if you have Fury of the Bloodline maxed out.
In the phase where Medusa has minions, try to kill the minions as fast as possible. Don't focus on Medusa at all during this phase, just use overpower attacks to kill the minions quickly. It's hard to dodge both the minions' attacks and Medusa's attacks so you should try to get the minions killed as fast as possible so you can just focus on Medusa.
Then, when the minions are dead, just follow this pattern:
-First she does the beam attack, so hide behind a pillar
-Then she does the meteor attack. This can be dodged, so if you just keep hitting the dodge button it won't hit you. Use this opportunity to dodge TOWARDS Medusa.
-If you followed the previous step, you'll end up within melee range after the meteor attack is over, so hit her with a few basic attacks. The key here is to NOT use your special abilities - you want to save the adrenaline for the phase with the minions where it's much harder to avoid getting hit! It's actually a lot easier to avoid getting hit when you're just fighting Medusa, so you can be patient and refrain from wasting adrenaline.
Then just rinse and repeat. In the last phase Medusa's order of attacks becomes a bit more erratic but as long as you pay attention you'll be fine. Save some adrenaline for this phase, though, just in case you get hit and need to refill your health.
