Conquest battles too difficult

The conquest battles of this game are too difficult when playing on the attacking side. I'm playing on easy difficulty and yet I keep losing them every single time. I focus all my attacks on the captains and the enemy heroes but it doesn't help. My allies always die before I can finish them off

what is your level,if your level below 30 dont bother that much .Level between 40-99 you are gonna be op as hell.

I only had this problem with one conquest battle but the way I solved it was simply respeccing my character into a fighter. Since it is inexpensive to respec, you should feel encouraged to experiment with your build to see what works best. When I hit the fight in question (about 2/3 through the game) I died half a dozen times as a stealth build, then respecced into Warrior/Assassin and not only did I do much better in the battle, but I enjoyed the style so much that I ended up playing the rest of the game with that build.

Be sure that you're targeting the lieutenants in the conquest battles, as that's where your points come from. Spending too much time fighting the rank and file is a good way to lose the fight even if you're kicking arze by yourself.

Also, be sure you're not fighting enemies more than 1-2 levels higher than you.

if u go crit hunter buıld at level 50+,pretty much conquest battle take 3-5 min,63 soldier,all captains and 1 mercenary killed however assasıns buıld on conquest battle is ♥♥♥♥ because rush as. and nyx ability doesnt work only to win option is spam hero strike

That must be the problem. I'm using gear that is focused on stealth gameplay because I like doing things "The assassin" way. And I'm only level 32 at the moment. Looks like I have to make another gear build for battles. Although I did finally manage to beat that conquest battle accidentally by spamming the overpower strike ability and even then just barely

I have an assassin build and 0 problems in battles, you only need to get a decent build, they are too easy I believe

There must be some kind of serious problem with your engravings.

I do them on Nightmare with an assassin / warrior build.

Hero Strike often one-shots captains even on Nightmare. Beyond that I dodge and move around to keep from getting hit. Ring of Chaos in the warrior tree throws people away and stuns a good long time.

My major engravings are for permanent poison on weapon (poison is crazy good for mitigation of damage) and reduced cooldowns on abilities to hero strike faster.

Entering a conquest battle in not easy so it depend on your Level , abilities , skill , weapon , armor , and the side of Sparta is winning more easy than to be with the Athenian because the Sparta are always to be the attacker while the Athenian are almost to be the defender [ but not always ] .

Not sure if this is assumed, but I basically ignore non-captain enemies, just keep running around, spinning the view to find only captains, run to them fight, kill them using my best attacks and run on using the crowd to lose the non-captain enemies chasing me as much as possible on my way to the next captain. Rarely do I stop to kill a non-captain unless I need to build up adrenaline . I find this helps the battles end much faster.
