Can someone explain the different editions and DLC?
Different editions don't have details, seriously?

Can someone explain what I get with the different editions? If I get the gold one, what do I have to win? What do I miss from not picking platinum?

Are there any more planned DLC's or was fate of atlantis the last one? How big are the DLC's? Do we get to fight a lot more mythical creatures than in the base game?

platinum = season pass + ?

1 Standard - include free DLC (Lost tales ...)
2 Deluxe - Standard + Small DLC ( cosmetics )
3 Gold - Standard + Season pass
4 Ultimate - Standard + Deluxe DLC + Season pass.

ok - different editions first - cash grabs, all you need is th the cheapest one that has the season pass to get the DLC's, there will be no more DLC's beyond the final installment of lost tales - both Legacy and Atlantis are finished, the Atlantis expansion is worth the extra bucks to get the season pass. Platinum just gives you a two armor sets, 2 weapons, a horse skin, a crew. and a ship skin - really not worth the extra bucks IMHO as you get some decent gear fairly quick after Kephollonia.

But it doesn't just give you armor sets and weapons, it also gives you those same armor sets and weapons as skins which can be applied to any other items of the same class.

I don't care about BS cosmetics or starting the game OP and spoil the game in the process.

What's the best option to have access to all content? (Missions and locations) Are there any DLC's coming in the future?

seriously? If I want to unlock all the skins and armors sets - i would just download the file editor from nexus without paying another dme,

To the OP - purchase the one that gives the season pass, as I said Atlantis is finished, and just one more installment of lost tales of greece, anything more is just throwing money at Ubisoft

Fair enough, but other people looking for information might also read this thread. And if the info in it isn't clear & complete, then based on what they read, they might take away a wrongful impression of what they actually get; hence it's important to be crystal clear, and with complete information, for their sakes.

So what's the difference between Normal, Deluxe and Gold editions?
Arlen Aug 25, 2019 @ 11:04am
ok - normal - no season pass=no DLC. Gold has season pass. Deluxe has season pass + the items - or vice versa

Deluxe Edition don't have season pass. Stop with this misinformation.

Buy the Gold edition - a simple google search "Assasin Creed Odyssey editions" would pull up the polygon article that explains in detail what each edition contains. Not being a douche here, just saying it would have been far easier and quicker to just google the info yourself. The Gold edition contains all of the content plus AC 3 remastered, along with AC liberation remastered.

Look - I was answering this off the top of my head, he listed 3 editions - and shot a quick reply after repeatedly telling him to purchase the one with season pass. Instead of doing research for himself, which would have taken all of 30 seconds, we have an hour long thread and you scolding me for trying to be helpful. bite me
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

You can't help anyone if you don't know the information they need. You just shouldn't have replied.
