Cheats?

I just want to mess around and try out some things is their an in game cheat menu or something?

no cheats... gotta use a trainer or atleast thats what ive noticed

If you can't find anything pre-made for CE and you're decent at using it, you can typically do a simple search on all the resources. The only caveat is that resources are tracked per module rather than combined - if you have 500 metal in one and 400 metal in another, you'll have to search for 400 or 500, not 900 (for example.)

You can use my mod as basis (after I will update it), remove all features and mechanics and only make all modules craftable for free & etc.

is there a option just to add $$? I like the idea of adding that only to allow easier play.

You could HEXedit the savegame.

A little late to the thread, but you could also just learn to use CheatEngine, since once you know how to use it you can cheat in basically any single player game

don't have the programs to do that.. and don't want to do it :)

You could back up the directory where the game saves its state. This is handy to continue the game on a different computer.

Already know how to use it but I prefer not to use it if their is an official alternative
