Safe code?

How do I figure out the safe code from the picture? I get that that's probably what should show me the code, but I don't get it. I've tried the hints and directions I thought I saw.

Well, I guess I found the right order by trial & error.

The password is on the picture, you´ll find out the correct order of the animals in the room with the colleagues.

I tried but failed even with the colleagues room stuff. I ended up reading a walkthrough for it… First to see if it has some more hints, but then had to use the code.
