Is Treasure Map 2 Broken?

I tried digging, but no matter what I do I can't dig. No info on wiki or anywhere else that I could find. Any suggestions? Thanks :)

Seems people are having trouble finding the right spot for this treasure map. You are probably in the wrong area.

I actually tried a couple, though the special necklace actually lit up the location (I tried all over that spot, but...nothing but "ting").

i was having issues with this one, as well. i was in the correct spot but, where i thought it would be, compared to the map, nothing was digging. So, i just started spamming the dig around the area and managed to hit the sweet spot.

Sounds like the sweet spot needs to be just a hair broader. I'll give it another go. At least I got map 4. There was cuteness inside :)

Finally got map 2 found. Had to take tiny steps and dig after each one.

Glad you got it! I'll take a not to look at that one again to see if it is different than the other maps.

I took pics of most of them for future play reference. Can the maps be used more than once, since they respawn?

No. One map per character. They respawn for multiplayer purposes and if you make another character in your world.

Interesting. The Treasure Hunter's Trinket is specifically programmed to not find the secret buried treasure so I'm wondering if it found a chest under the ground and mislead you.

It did. Going over various areas later, I found an X, so it was indicating a treasure chest that, at the time, wasn't marked.

Could you guve us a hint as to where you found the treasure? Maybe even update the wiki? I tried everywhere (on the beach, up where the boars live, further up), but I seem to bee to dumb to find the spot.

Make sure you're only trying to dig in dirt, not on stone. Next, make sure the landmarks in the distance are lined up, as well as foreground (nearby) landmarks, like large rocks or trees, etc. That should help you out.

The wiki is entirely player run and is up to the players to update. I know a lot of people complain that the wiki is out of date, but the game has a very small audience and as the sole developer, I just simply don't have the time to fix bugs, add features, build more content, communicate with the community AND fill out an entire wiki, so I've decided that the wiki needs to stay entirely player run.

So that means it's up to you to fill out! Once you find the spot, throw a screenshot up on the wiki for the next player who gets stuck! If everyone contributed one thing, it'd be filled out before we knew it.
