Purpose of different Bond traits between characters

In the Bond menu there are tons of traits you can set for each character for different relationships. But if you already get max level bonds for your current character setup, what is the incentive to switch to other relationships? What exactly does all this do, anyways?

It is to set the AI behaviour. For example, if you want the AI to focus more on healing, then go with the green leaf or the maid. Rival (blue) for more offence, etc.

The first column is bond name ("kizuna name") e.g. full support
The second column "Effect Name" is the ability that would trigger in battle. In the case of full support, there are 3.

as some effects are

now do these effects only last till 1 attack or are these buffs lasting to some extent until they wear off during combat
next you have hostile effects these can both affect you or your enemy depends on how you set up your bonds (Namely having 2 female characters with shining maid bonds linked to Yuma)
